Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions of hire will go on any contract for hire that we enter into with you. Please read these terms and conditions. By entering into the contract you are acknowledging that you have read these terms and conditions.

A £100.00 deposit is required for each chosen week. This will secure a booking. When booking by phone ensure that the deposit reaches us within five days or the booking will not be confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Mrs. Heidi Skinner. A receipt will be issued which will confirm your booking and show the amount outstanding which must be received within six weeks before the start of your selected period. In the event of full payment not being received by the due date we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. Should you book six weeks or less before your holiday the full amount becomes due immediately.

Holiday Cancellation

If you have to cancel your holiday you must do so in writing and send it to the address shown on your booking form. The date of cancellation will be the date of receipt of written notification.

Cancellation six weeks (42 days) or sooner prior to the start of your holiday=full refund of any monies paid less deposit.

Cancellations made 41-21 prior to the start of your holiday we will refund 30% of the total paid less deposit.

Cancellations made within 20 days prior to the start of your holiday can not be refunded.

Conditions Of Hire

We are unable to accept bookings where all members of the party are under 21 years of age or from single sex groups. A maximum of 8 occupants is allowed. Devon Cliffs is a family holiday park. Individuals causing nuisance to other holiday makers or site staff may be asked to leave the park. In these circumstances no refunds will be made. All caravans must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure to ensure that thorough cleaning and inventory checking can be completed prior to the next letting period. No keys will be released before 3.00pm on the day of arrival. The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party. All breakages must be paid for.

Hirers duty to inspect

It is the hirers duty to inspect the caravan and contents against the inventory and report any damage and/or discrepancies to the owners within 24 hours of commencement of the hire period.

Holiday Insurance

We recommend that you purchase holiday insurance from a local broker to cover personal luggage, personal money and personal land public liability etc.

Other

Linen- Duvets, Pillows and mattress covers are supplied. Hirers are asked to bring their own Duvet Covers, pillow slips, tea-towels and towels. (these items can be hired from the site hire shop if required)

Patio/Garden Furniture- Please  do not remove from the patio area.

Parking- please try to avoid parking on the grass (site rules). All vehicles are left or parked at owners risk.

Park Rules: These are displayed on the park.  Please ensure that they are compiled with. (NB as we are private owners we do not own the park and accordingly cannot accept liability for alternations to any  facilities or entertainments advertised)
